Our Initiatives

We believe that a safer, more resilient community starts with knowledge and empowerment. Our community programs are at the heart of this mission, offering a range of free and low-cost initiatives aimed at building safer, healthier, and more prepared communities.

First Aid in Schools

Delivered by experienced trainers, our First Aid in Schools Program brings lifesaving skills directly to students, teaching them how to respond in an emergency. 

Driver First Aid

St John is committed to safer roads and first aid ready communities. This includes efforts to equip Australians with the knowledge, skills, confidence and equipment to provide first aid roadside.

Ophthalmic Hospital

The St John Ophthalmic Program is involved in supporting the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group (SJEGH), and ophthalmic activities in Timor Leste & remote Australia.
